Terms of Service

Effective 2026-05-23 · covers all duolakit products (Claude Code plugins, Chrome extensions, related software) and the duolakit-license verification service.

1. Acceptance of terms

By installing, downloading, or otherwise using any duolakit plugin, extension, or related service ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Services.

2. Description of services

The free tiers of all duolakit products are licensed under MIT. Pro tiers are separately licensed; Pro access is purchased through Creem.io (the merchant of record handling payment processing).

3. License grant

Free tier: licensed under MIT (see LICENSE file in the relevant repository). You may use, modify, and redistribute under MIT terms.

Pro tier: upon successful payment, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the Pro features on unlimited personal devices for the duration of your purchase (lifetime for one-time purchases; monthly/annual for subscriptions). You may not resell, share, or redistribute Pro license access.

4. Payment and refunds

Pro purchases are processed by Creem.io as merchant of record. By purchasing, you also agree to Creem.io's terms.

Refund policy: 14-day no-questions-asked refund for one-time Pro purchases. Subscription purchases may be cancelled anytime through Creem's customer portal; cancellation stops future billing but does not retroactively refund the current billing period.

Refunds are processed through whichever channel you used to pay. Upon refund or cancellation, your Pro access is revoked within seconds via the duolakit-license Worker.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate revocation of Pro access without refund.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the duolakit-license Worker will be available at all times. Free tier features depend on third-party services (Cloudflare, Anthropic, browser vendors, etc.) which we do not control.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, duolakit and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for Pro access in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.

See our Privacy Policy for full details. Summary: free tiers send no data; Pro activation sends only your email and the plugin name to the duolakit-license Worker for verification.

9. Third-party services

Some Pro features integrate with third-party APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Linear, OpenRouter). Your use of those APIs is governed by their respective terms. You are responsible for any costs incurred from third-party API usage when using BYOK ("bring your own key") features.

10. Changes to the services and terms

We may modify the Services or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to new Terms, you may cancel your subscription and stop using the Services.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling the plugin or extension. We may terminate or suspend your Pro access if you violate these Terms, with refund only at our discretion based on circumstances.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of the operator's residence. Any dispute arising from the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved by good-faith DM correspondence between the parties. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration in the operator's jurisdiction.
